I am an Italian commuter. I work around 20 km away from home and I go there by bus for a series of reasons, including the lower cost and the lack of a personal vehicle.

I came to enjoy the process of commuting on a bus, and I started taking covert pictures of my fellow travelers. Being taken on a public transportation vehicle, they are perfectly legal — the covertness is only to make sure that they are natural.

While the photos might seem funny, that is not the intention. The goal of this blog is to collect images of a world that’s hidden to many: on a bus you can literally see so many different people, different cultures, different attitudes, different lifestyles. This blog is a snapshot, pun intended, of this “commuter world”.
